Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current procurement processes and identify areas for improvement
 - Work closely with internal departments and stakeholders to assess the procurement process
 - Enhance current procurement processes to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness
 - Develop and implement enhanced procurement processes
 - Analyze the IT needs of the organization and identify potential vendors and suppliers
 - Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
 - Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and managing any amendments or renewals
 - Ensure that procured items are delivered on time and meet the specified quality standards
 - Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors
 - Manage inventory of IT resources and ensure they are updated as necessary
 - Collaborate with ICT teams to ensure software and hardware needs are met
 - Maintain records of purchases, contracts, and invoices
 - Stay current with the latest IT trends and advancements to make informed purchasing decisions
 - Handle any issues or problems that arise with orders or suppliers
 - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities
 - Ensure that the procurement process runs smoothly and efficiently, ultimately contributing to the success of the organization
 
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering and/or business degree, or a diploma with relevant courses in supply chain and procurement
 - Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT procurement or a similar role
 - Experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in IT procurement
 - Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
 - Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g. CIPS, CPSM) is preferred
 - Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
 - Strong negotiation and communication skills

 - Excellent organizational and time management skills
 - Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions
 - Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
