mselect is looking to hire an Interior Designer for an architecture and engineering client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have at least 3–5 years of professional experience in an interior design firm (luxury or high-end preferred).
Job Purpose
The role involves delivering high-quality and creative interior design solutions for both residential and commercial projects. The position requires a refined eye for detail, a passion for contemporary and luxury aesthetics, and the ability to translate client visions into fully realized, functional, and inspiring spaces. This role requires experience in managing design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, material selection, 3D visualization coordination, and site supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop complete design concepts, layouts, and mood boards in alignment with the company’s aesthetic direction
- Create and present space plans, color schemes, and material selections that meet client goals and budgets
- Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to select furniture, lighting, tiles, and finishes
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and BOQs for client approval and execution
- Coordinate with 3D visualizers to produce high-quality renderings that accurately represent design intent
- Conduct site visits to ensure design accuracy and supervise implementation quality
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project flow
- Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and technologies to bring innovation to each project
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in an interior design firm (luxury or high-end preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max (or similar), and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of materials, furniture, and lighting specifications
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English (Arabic/Kurdish is a plus)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with precision
