Candidates must have 5–10 years of experience in a technical field, with a background in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain in the oil & gas industry. Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must, Arabic is a plus.

Key Responsibility
- Actively source and identify suitable international manufacturers, main sources, and brands
- Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and conduct both commercial and technical evaluations
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for technical equipment, spare parts, and services
- Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favourable terms while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
- Proactively track purchase orders and follow up to guarantee on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of suppliers, contracts, and procurement activities
- Support vendor qualification processes and develop a comprehensive active vendor list
- Continuously monitor market trends, pricing, and lead times to enhance sourcing efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or a related technical field
- 5–10 years of experience in a technical field, with a background in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (oil & gas sector experience preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge combined with procurement awareness
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP knowledge is an advantage
- Fluency in Kurdish and English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus
