Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Odoo Developer and Implementer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, customization, and implementation of Odoo ERP solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate client requirements into effective Odoo solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Odoo Development:
- Design, develop, and test custom Odoo modules to meet specific business needs
- Customize existing Odoo modules and integrate third-party applications as required
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Odoo best practices
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where Odoo can be customized or enhanced
- Configure and customize Odoo applications to align with client requirements
- Provide end-to-end implementation, including data migration, user training, and post-implementation support
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Odoo functionalities and integrations
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
- Maintain and update documentation related to customizations and implementations
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Odoo certification is a plus
- Proven experience as an Odoo Developer and Implementer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects
- Experience in Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Odoo’s architecture, modules, and development environment
- Minimum of 3 years or more
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of business processes in areas such as CRM, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, and HR is a plus
