Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations Management:
- Supervise the daily operations of retail establishments to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Ensure that retail locations uphold high standards in merchandising, cleanliness, and customer service
- Implement and oversee strategies for loss prevention to minimize potential risks
- Formulate and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability objectives
- Evaluate store sales performance and furnish actionable insights to enhance outcomes
- Examine market trends and consumer behaviour to improve sales effectiveness
- Collaborate with the marketing department to execute promotional activities and campaigns
- Ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer experience across all retail locations
- Provide training and development for store personnel focused on best practices in customer service
- Address escalated customer complaints effectively and ensure prompt resolution
- Collect and analyse customer feedback to facilitate continuous improvement
- Recruit, train, and develop store managers and retail staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and set clear objectives for the team
- Motivate and engage employees to achieve high performance and productivity
- Provide coaching and mentorship to enhance skills and competencies
- Monitor stock levels and ensure the availability of high-demand mobile products
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for stock replenishment
- Manage stock movement and minimize losses due to overstocking or stockouts
- Prepare and present regular sales and operational reports to senior management
- Utilize data analytics to track performance and identify improvement areas
- Assess and optimise store layouts and product placements for increased sales
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Speak a minimum of two languages
- 5-7 years of experience in managing and expanding organised retail chain
- Have leadership skills to lead the team
- Be able to train the team
- Understand the mobile and electronics industry
- Good understanding of social media and marketing
- Demonstrated strong business acumen paired with strategic thinking capabilities
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Exhibits the ability to drive performance and achieve organisational objectives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software
- Frequent travel between retail outlets across the country is required
