mselect is looking to hire a Tank Mechanical Site Engineer for an international industrial client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 years in oil and gas sector with QC background. Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must, Arabic is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and adhering to budget constraints
- Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
- Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with rules and safety regulations
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
- Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Manage and review / approve the claims / variations / Progress Reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering or related field
- Supervising the construction activities in API 650 storage tanks mandatory
- Experience in Aviation fuel farm / knowledge of JIG standard will be added advantage
- API 51/653, ASNT Level 2, TWI
- Project quality control
- Working Experience in GCC Countries
