mselect is looking to hire a Finance Manager for an automotive client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have 7-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, and prior experience in the automotive spare parts or manufacturing industries is a plus. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must, and Kurdish is a plus.

Job Purpose
We are seeking an accomplished Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of the organization across multiple divisions and branches. The role will ensure accurate accounting, strong financial controls, and compliance with international standards, while driving profitability, cash flow management, and sustainable growth. Acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership, the Finance Manager will provide insights on pricing, forecasting, and cost optimization, while building and mentoring a high-performing finance team and implementing scalable systems to support the company’s expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the existing finance team
  • Establish clear responsibilities and build a scalable finance structure for future growth
2. Financial Operations:
  • Oversee financial operations across all divisions: Manufacturing, Spare Parts, Automotive
  • Ensure consistent financial policies and procedures across branches
3. Accounting & Reporting:
  • Organize, review, and maintain accurate accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards
4. Analysis & Forecasting:
  • Conduct profitability analysis, pricing reviews, and margin control
  • Develop and monitor smart pricing strategies to remain competitive
  • Prepare profit and cash flow forecasts for senior management
5. Financial Systems & Controls:
  • Monitor receivables and payables across branches
  • Recommend and implement ERP/accounting systems
  • Strengthen internal financial controls
6. Cross-Border Coordination:
  • Ensure smooth financial coordination between the HQ and branches in Iraq
  • Oversee compliance with cross-border transactions, tax regulations, and reporting
7. Strategic Support:
  • Provide financial insights to the CEO to support business decision-making
  • Advice on cost optimization and operational efficiency

Requirements
  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in finance and accounting
  • Industry background is flexible; experience in automotive spare parts or manufacturing is a plus
  • Experience managing finance in a multi-branch or international business
  • Strong knowledge of international financial standards and local compliance
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor accounting teams
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
