mselect is looking to hire an SAP Expert for an international energy client in Basrah, Iraq. Candidates must have 8-10 years of experience in developing SAP-based projects and SAP BW-WEBI, with extensive experience in a major area of management within the company. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Purpose

Key Activities
SAP (UNISOL) Management:
- Organization and evolution of UNISOL (SAP) and its interfaces
- Assistance and correction request handling
- Change release process management
- Leading projects within the company
- MIS server operations
- Help Desk support
- User account management
- Monitoring and improvement of integration processes
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible to the MIS Manager for the overall functioning of the Management Information System (MIS)
- Ensures and promotes the proper use of the MIS in compliance with recommendations of the ‘Métiers’
- Ensures the proper level of ownership of the tool and training needs Act as dedicated advisor and MIS trainer of any user, whatever his business, working within UNISOL
- Optimizes overall processes around the MIS
- Coordinates and approves, in connection with the hierarchies concerned and in accordance with the guidelines established at the E&P Branch level, required studies, functional developments’ changes related to architecture, and evolutions of the MIS
- Leads, as project management, projects global changes in the company and leads and organizes the improvement/upgrade of the system to UNISOL and any new module implementation
- Represents the MIS in the Steering Committees of the company
- Leads the SAP-based community in the company
- Organizes the dissemination of information to the MIS perimeter, ensures the update of all related documents communications, and the availability of documents
- Consolidates the operating costs of the MIS in the company and project costs of development
- Manages the contractual relationship with the HQ support team
- Ensures an efficient organization of the first level of support in the company and coordinates the various key users and Leads users, in connection with their hierarchies, informed by the Key Users and leads users of requirements sent to the HQ support team
- Defines the internal/external rights in the system to the delegates/substitutes according to the Delegations Of Authority about concerned hierarchies and the Managing Director
- Defines the technical validation rights in the system to the users about concerned hierarchies
- Defines the user's access authorizations to the system according to the Governance rules
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance management
- Experience: Participation in the development of SAP-based projects and SAP BW-WEBI; Extensive experience in a major area of management in the company
- General skills: Sense of service to customers, communication and team leadership abilities, in-depth knowledge of business and business processes covered by the MIS (accounting, cost control, joint venture, contracts and procurement, material management, logistics)
