Job Purpose
The Out of Central Processing Facility (CPF) Security Officer acts as a specialist in charge of the control and coordination of all contractors (focus on Private Security Companies working for contractors) who deploy to the areas of operation for their activities. As a facilitator and coordinator for the Private Security Company(ies), he/she must also be able to advise contractors on missions, equipment and security engineering.

To contribute to the successful implementation of the SAS project through an effective implementation of the Security Rules and Procedures for protection and security incidents management, an active engagement with security stakeholders, National Security Forces, and Private Security Companies and an effective management and reporting of all security events.

As a facilitator and coordinator for the Private Security Company(ies), he/she must also be able to advise contractors on missions, equipment and security engineering.
Key Activities
- Monitor and coordinate PSC activities on the field to ensure an efficient deployment for all working sites
- Support the monitoring of contractors and suppliers’ compliance with security requirements
- When completing a project, ensure that the security requirements comply with the expected standards
- Support the implementation of the access control on contractors’ sites
- In close cooperation with the Security Coordinator, liaise with the Oil Police Forces to request mitigation security measures if needed
- Support the consolidation of daily POB
- Monitor the access roads in the field and report in case of any traffic issues
- Support the implementation and enforce security policies, legal requirements, and best practices
- Support training for security personnel (security exercises)
- Monitor contractor security exercise at field working sites
- Evaluate the security contractor's performance on sites and report any gap with expectations
- Provide solutions to mitigate security risks at the assigned worksites
- Issue security reports (daily, weekly)
- Investigate security incidents of interest and provide related reports
- In the event of an emergency, ensure that information is well disseminated and that all personnel deployed are informed
Key Accountabilities

Requirements
- Education degree (army, security, foreign affairs)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge about Iraqi Security Forces, Private Security Company, crisis management and incident response protocols
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure in a hostile environment
- Good communication and negotiation skills to operate in a multicultural environment and deal with complex situations
- Prior experience in industrial environments and/or high-risk environments in the oil and gas industry, desirable
- Bilingual Arabic-English Knowledge of the French language is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Good command of MS Office
