mselect is looking to hire an Asset Administration Officer for a consultancy client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have 2-5 years’ of relevant experience in asset management or accounting. Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must.

Key Responsibilities
Asset Data Management & Coordination:
- Maintain detailed, accurate records on all assets in the client’s Portal, including specifications, current condition, location, and financial value
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and regular updates of asset records on the client’s Portal
- Ensuring consistent and timely entry of inventory data by the operator on the client’s Portal
- Coordinating with the Auditing Department and the relevant operator to verify the asset status, specifically to confirm whether the asset is fully owned by the client, meaning that the full cost has been recovered
- Oversee the operation of the Assets section within the client’s Portal, ensuring workflows for approval, documentation, and asset status tracking are functioning efficiently
- Coordinate and ensure smooth workflow within the disposition process, using the system to manage approvals, status tracking, and documentation
- Manage financial record-keeping related to asset sales, transfers, and disposals
- Track and reconcile incoming funds from asset sales, ensuring accurate booking of sales revenues and other related transactions
- Maintain payment records in coordination with bidders, verifying receipts and supporting the post-sale processes
- Liaise with the Fund’s supervising authority to ensure alignment of financial activities with the Asset & Material Sales Fund plan
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and forecasts related to Asset Office operations
- Verifying the asset status through third-party audit results, in cases where the asset has been audited and has successfully passed the audit
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
Experience:
2-5 years in asset management or accounting; experience in consultancy is a plus.
Skills:
- Knowledge of fixed asset accounting and inventory control
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
