Job Purpose

The role involves working at various locations across Baghdad, with approximately 50% of the work centered on German Embassy facilities and other German entities, as well as the American Embassy and other foreign sites. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in electrical installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects
- Always adhere to safety standards and protocols
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Electrician
- Vocational training or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of local and international electrical codes
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken); German is highly desirable
- Valid certification, qualification, diploma or license to work as an Electrician
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience working in high-security environments is a plus
