mselect is looking to hire an Asset Handling Officer (Inspection and Storage) for a consultancy client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have 2-4 years in asset handling, warehousing, or logistics, experience with inspection and storage processes is preferred. Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management and Maintenance:
  • Update asset condition, inspection outcomes, storage location details, and other pertinent physical handling information within the system
  • Ensure accurate reflection of asset movements, inspections, and logistics information in the inventory records
Client’s Portal Management and Operation:
  • Use the client’s Portal to document and track inspection processes, asset condition updates, and physical storage location changes
  • Interface with the client’s Portal during physical inventory audits and inspections, maintaining real-time updates to asset statuses

Requirements

Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience:
2-4 years in asset handling, warehousing, or logistics, experience with inspection and storage processes is preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of inspection protocols and storage procedures
  • Familiarity with inventory and asset tracking systems
  • Basic understanding of safety standards and handling guidelines
  • Good organizational and record-keeping abilities
  • Physical ability to handle and inspect various asset types
